Why we built this
Rotating and 24-hour shift schedules break almost every generic pay calculator, because the overtime math, differential stacking, and even the definition of a "week" work differently once your schedule stops looking like a standard office job. We built ShiftRosterPay as a single-purpose tool that treats those schedules as the default case, not an edge case.

How we think about accuracy
We built the overtime and differential math to follow the actual federal rules where they're well defined — workweek-based FLSA overtime, the 7(k) exemption for public safety, and standard differential stacking — and we're upfront where the calculator simplifies a genuinely complex or employer-specific rule.
