This policy is written to reflect how ShiftRosterPay actually works technically. It's provided as a general reference, not legal advice — if you need a compliance-reviewed policy for a specific jurisdiction, have it reviewed by an attorney.

Overview

ShiftRosterPay is a calculation tool. This policy explains what happens to your information when you use it.

The calculator runs in your browser

Your shift pattern, wage, differential rates, and any calendar edits you make are processed entirely client-side, in your browser. We do not transmit that information to our servers, store it in a database, or associate it with your identity. If you close the tab or clear your browser, that data is gone — we never had a copy.

Information we collect

Calculator inputs: none collected — see above.
Contact form: we don't operate a contact form. If you email us, we receive whatever you choose to include in that email and use it only to respond to you.
Site analytics: like most websites, we may use privacy-conscious analytics tools to understand aggregate traffic patterns — for example, which pages are visited and roughly how much traffic the site receives. This data is aggregated and is not used to build an individual profile of you.

Cookies

We do not use cookies to power the calculator itself. Our analytics or hosting provider may set minimal, aggregate-level cookies for traffic measurement. You can block or clear cookies at any time through your browser settings without affecting the calculator's functionality.

Third-party services

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts and styling from a public Tailwind CSS CDN. These third-party providers may log standard technical information (such as IP address) as part of serving those files, under their own privacy policies. We don't control or have access to that data.

Data security

Because calculator inputs are never transmitted to us, there's no server-side wage or roster data to secure. Standard web security practices (HTTPS, etc.) protect the delivery of the site itself.

Children's privacy

ShiftRosterPay is intended for working adults and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Your rights

Since we don't collect or store personal calculator data, there is generally nothing to access, correct, or delete on our end. If you've emailed us directly, contact us and we'll address your request regarding that correspondence.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
